A CONTEMPORARY TRIBUTE TO THE HISTORY OF THE MAISON
To celebrate 270 years of uninterrupted creativity, Vacheron Constantin is unveiling three Traditionnelle Anniversary individually numbered limited editions. These new watches showcase two historical signatures: openworked dials and retrograde displays, that embody the Maison’s everlasting quest for stylistic innovation and technical prowess.

OPENWORKED DIALS
The Maison has taken the openwork approach to new levels in these limited editions. Unlike skeletonisation, focused on minimising total material, an openworked dial reveals the movement’s complexity and inner beauty while maintaining a strong dial structure, preserving its architecture. The Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date Openface reveals the beauty of its new self-winding manufacture movement, the Calibre 2460 QPR31/270, thanks to an openworked dial.

Retrograde display
According to the Maison’s archives, the retrograde date was first introduced on a Vacheron Constantin wristwatch in 1940 and has been a signature of the Maison ever since. The retrograde display employs a date hand which runs in an arc before snapping back to its starting point and resuming its stately procession. The feature combines exemplary legibility to considerable technical prowess.
Creativity in every aspect
Fully exposed calibres showcase Vacheron Constantin watchmakers’ attention to detail. Each component is meticulously finished, chamfered, polished or rounded off by hand.
