A new manufacture calibre for the Maison's 270th Anniversary
The 127-piece limited-edition Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar celebrates 270 years of watchmaking creativity with two of the Maison’s strengths, pairing the complexity of a new calibre with the refined elegance of a hand-guilloché dial.
A FEAT OF DESIGN AND TECHNICITY

A NEW CALIBRE FROM THE MANUFACTURE
Conjuring a spirit of timeless elegance, the model’s slim case is made possible by the Manufacture’s new Calibre 2162 QP/270, just 6.55 mm thick and based on the existing Calibre 2160. The new self-winding calibre integrates two challenging Haute Horlogerie complications: the tourbillon regulator, which compensates for gravity’s effects on balance-spring isochronism, and a perpetual calendar displaying the day, date, month and year, requiring no manual adjustment before 2100.

THE TOURBILLON COMPLICATION
The inclusion of an ultra-thin tourbillon in a movement involves a careful balance of dimensions, inertia, and torque, making it a major technical challenge. The Maison's Calibre 2162 QP beats at 18,000 vph (2.5 Hz), a relatively slow tempo generally found in historic pocket watches. The advantage of this frequency is that it provides ample opportunity to enjoy the tourbillon’s mechanical choreography.

THE PERPETUAL CALENDAR
The new mechanism features a patented secure drive system for the perpetual calendar functions. Thanks to a flexible driving finger-piece on the wheel, the perpetual calendar functions can be adjusted both clockwise and counterclockwise without any risk of damaging the movement.
A 270 anniversary signature timepiece

“CÔTE UNIQUE,” GUILLOCHAGE & ANNIVERSARY SIGNATURE
The classic aesthetic is paired with a signature motif on the gold dial that distinguishes the limited editions commemorating Vacheron Constantin's 270th anniversary. Inspired by the Maltese cross, Vacheron Constantin's emblem since 1880, this hand-guilloché pattern symbolises the Maison’s perpetual quest for precision and excellence, adding a contemporary touch and creating eye-catching light effects with every move of the wearer’s wrist. The calibre also features a special “côte unique” finish on the bridges.

WHERE TRADITION AND MODERNITY MEET
The Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar reflects the stylistic codes that shape the collection. With a classic style, a stepped and fluted case, Dauphine hands, and a railway minute-track, Traditionnelle watches embody the legacy of 18th-century Genevan Haute Horlogerie. Here, the Maison has reunited two classic Haute Horlogerie complications (tourbillon regulator and perpetual calendar) in a new self-winding calibre, demonstrating a continuous quest for modernity.
