Vacheron Constantin celebrates its Monaco address by inviting Charlotte Colt, a local artist, to redesign its windows with unique creations.

Studio charlotte colt
Charlotte Colt is an illustrator, inspired by the shores of Nice and the Riviera's flowery landscapes.
Her style is based on line’s work, paying tribute to her favorite artists among them Henri Matisse and Jean Cocteau.
Each drawing, each landscape is inhabited by the light and color of the Côte d'Azur.
Paper, pebbles, frescoes, textiles, ceramics... her oneiric sketches convey the spirit of the Riviera as if in a daydream.

The project
This year, Vacheron Constantin takes a "Less is More" approach to the notion of excellence.
Each of these paintings is a homage to Vacheron Constantin's savoir-faire.
We discover a craftsman's face, the intelligence of the hands, or the starry skies of the moon-phase watches.
Through drawing and thread, two different techniques, the artist pays tribute to the different skills and passions that create extraordinary timepieces every day.

The art work
Two decor formats have been designed for the occasion: a sun showcase, recalling the global influence of the Maison. At its center, like a star, a face and a wrist displaying a timepiece.
The second showcase is read like a constellation: three paintings echo emblematic codes of the Maison: homage to the Maltese cross, to moon-phase watches, to exploration and openness to the world, so dear to the Maison.

Waves and clouds adorn the windows, reminiscent of its local Monaco anchorage.
Each decorative element is created in a workshop in Nice, and the paintings on round canvases are unique pieces.
