Heritage Documents
Discover the rich history of your Vacheron Constantin timepiece. Our Heritage team provides exclusive archival documents, offering a glimpse into the craftsmanship and legacy behind your watch.
Certificate of Authenticity
Your Vacheron Constantin watch is a unique piece with its own story. The Certificate of Authenticity includes a technical and aesthetic description of the characteristics of your watch and indicates the year of manufacture. The value of this certificate is more than symbolic, as it confirms that your watch belongs to the great lineage of exceptional watches.

How to Request it
In order to obtain a Certificate of Authenticity, the first step is to have the watch physically examined by our Heritage Department experts. Therefore, we recommend you bring your watch to one of our exclusive Boutiques.

Extract from the Archives

Aware of how irreplaceable the exact history of a timepiece is, Vacheron Constantin carefully conserves and indexes all information related to its creations, back to the oldest antique pieces, as it has since the Maison was founded. We also find it perfectly natural to share this captivating history with those you passionate about fine watchmaking and exceptional timepieces.
The Extract from the Archives corresponding to your watch includes its original characteristics and all information recorded since: the calibre type, the case and movement numbers, the type of dial and strap (if any), the date of manufacture and sale, and any secrets its history may entail. Bear in mind that an Extract from the Archives in no way constitutes a certificate of authenticity.

There is no need to have your timepiece examined by our experts in order to draw up an Extract from the Archives. However, we invite you to provide the case and movement numbers of the piece at one of our exclusive Boutiques.
Document for insurance purposes
Beyond its sentimental aspect, the value of a timepiece is something very real. That is why our Heritage department offers you the opportunity to have your Vacheron Constantin appraised thoroughly and precisely. The document we provide indicates the current last recorded retail list price of the timepiece.
To obtain an estimate of the value of a timepiece on the collector’s watch market, we advise you to contact a specialist auction house. In order to protect your property, Vacheron Constantin will not provide any information about our vintage timepieces by telephone.
